1969 Johnny Lightning BPs - Topper - Mirror Finish Castings

The Mirror Finish cars were used as salesman samples, TV props, and employee gifts with the remaining ones being packaged on a Blister Card for sale just like regular production cars found in sets(usually one of the gravity sets) and on the pegs.

As they were created at some point in the middle of 1969, they are primarily found on middle-run cards (Type 69U-D) and late-run 69 cards (Type 69U-E). One example as been found packaged on a leftover early run Cougar card (Type 69U-B). No Mirror Cars have ever been legitmately seen on any 1970 cards.

Below are some of the few surviving examples of these carded Mirror Finish cars.
